Biarritz offers you an immersion in the heart of the atmosphere of the Atlantic Coast. Finish with Saint-Jean-de-Luz, a typical Basque seaside resort. Located in the Labourd in the heart of the hills and at the foot of Mount Ursuia, Hasparren will seduce you with the richness of its architectural and cultural heritage.
The town is popular for its shops, its gastronomy and on Tuesday and Saturday mornings , days of the peasant market. As you stroll through the village, you will discover the half-timbered houses and the old farms from the 17th and 18th centuries. You can visit the Eyartze house with green shutters that belonged to the poet Francis Jammes and the art-deco chapel of the Sacré Cœur.

Espelette, Bastide-Clairence and Larressore A rich cultural heritage

The Basque Country is rich in a diverse cultural heritage and full of history. In 20 minutes, you will be at Villa Arnaga, museum and home of Edmond Rostand, writer of Cyrano de Bergerac. Do not miss the village of Espelette, a typical Basque village, known for its pepper. We also advise you to go to Bastide-Clairence, ranked among the most beautiful villages in France. Finally, go to Larressore, you will discover a workshop that has been manufacturing Basque walking sticks for more than 200 years, the Makhilia Ainciart Bergara workshop.

Ainhoa, San-Sebastian and its surroundings The Spanish border

Our charming hotel is located a few minutes from the Spanish border. Discover one of the last towns before Spain, the village of Ainhoa, ranked among the most beautiful villages in France, located on the way to Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle. The only through street in the village is bordered by red and white half-timbered houses. Once you have crossed the border, the first major Spanish city is San Sebastian where you will enjoy visiting the old town and the museums, strolling on Mount Igeldo and Mount Urgull, but also discovering La Concha Bay.
