In 1929, Jean-Pierre Choribit returned from Chile and decided to create the Trinquet Berria. This pelota court aims to be the most beautiful and the largest, so that pelota players can feel like they're in paradise. In 2018, the hotel reopened after renovations by Jean-Marc Charritton and began hosting bare-handed pelota matches. In 2017, in the Urcuray district, La Maison de Pierre opened its doors when Nicolas Montceau and Julien Bonnal took over Cote Paota. In 2023, the restaurant moved into the hotel, earning a Michelin star and offering a complete experience in this vibrant setting.
